CORK

Our study involves a comprehensive analysis of previous cases that have effectively utilised cork in construction, with the aim of obtaining significant insights from their experiences. Our project explores our own experiments to test and assess the various qualities of cork, going beyond a study of applications already in use. Since cork has a distinct harvesting procedure, one of the most important aspects of our research is tackling the economic factor related to cork. Our goal is to find more affordable or viable ways to obtain cork while maintaining its essential qualities through experimentation.
